What happens after I place my order?
Once you complete your transaction, you will receive a shipping container in the mail that contains packaging materials, an instruction sheet and a pre-paid UPS shipping label for sending your putter to us. Simply follow the instructions, stick on the UPS shipping label, and take the packed container to your closest UPS facility and off it will go to our manufacturing plant. How do I get my putter to you?
Within a few days of completing your transaction, you will receive a shipping container, packaging materials, and an instruction sheet for sending your putter to us. Simply drop the packed container off at any UPS location, and off it will go to our manufacturing plant. How can I find my closest UPS facility?
That’s easy! Go to http://www.ups.com, click on “find locations,” put in your address, and you will be given a number of close-by locations, and their hours of operation.
How long will it take for me to get my putter back?
This partly depends upon which method of shipping you choose. Once your putter arrives at our facility, we will process it and have it shipped back to you within 2 weeks.
How does the Porta-Putter Gift Certificate work?
When you purchase a Gift Certificate, we will immediately mail you a beautiful Certificate, and Gift card that you can present to the lucky beneficiary. The Gift Certificate is valid for one year, and is price protected should our price or shipping costs rise. To redeem your Certificate, the recipient may simply go to the Porta-Putter Web site, and follow the simple instructions there.
How do I redeem my Gift Certificate?
You can redeem your Porta-Putter Gift Certificate by visiting our portable putter redemption page on the Porta-Putter Web site. All you need to do is enter in your Porta-Putter Gift Card number, located on the back of the Gift Card, and the security code, located on the Gift Card Holder. Redeem your Gift Card today.
Will Porta-Putter change the way my putter feels?
Your putter will feel and perform exactly the same as it did before the Porta-Putter process. The precision inserts weigh less than 3% of the putter weight and are strategically placed in the center of the putter shaft. Additionally, there is a small alignment guide on the insert to make certain your putter is aligned, as it was when you sent it to us. The result is identical performance! What will my putter look like when it’s returned to me?
Unless you’re looking for it….you won’t be able to tell the difference! The precision engineered and strategically placed insert will blend into the look of the putter shaft. You can see this for yourself by viewing our portable putter process video.
How does your "100% Satisfaction Guarantee" work?
If for any reason you are not completely, 100% satisfied with your
Porta-Putter, please follow the steps below:
1. Call our sales and customer support department at 877-99-ONEPUTT to
let us know that you are returning your Porta-Putter.
2. Write a brief letter explaining your reason for returning your Porta-Putter
and include it with your return.
3. Send your golf putter back to us at the following address:

Once your returned Porta-Putter has arrived, we will immediately issue you a check for $150.00...no questions asked.
Can I take the putter on the airplane in carry-on baggage?
Currently due to security changes in the aftermath of 9/11, the FAA has changed their rules to no longer allow golf clubs and many other similar items that could potentially be used as weapons to be carried upon commercial airplanes. Your Porta-Putter will need to be checked in at the counter prior to boarding.
Will this work for any putter?
The Porta-Putter process has been designed for regular sized putters with metal shafts. Belly-type putters or putters with graphite or wood shafts are not appropriate at this time. We are currently evaluating the feasibility of including these in the future.
How is Porta-Putter different from a telescoping putter?
Both putters will travel easily, however only Porta-Putter is your own comfortable putter!
What happens if you damage my putter?
In the extremely unlikely event that your putter is damaged, either in transit, or by our process, just return it to us with a note highlighting the damage, and we’ll replace it for you if possible, or send you a check for $150.00.
What happens if my putter is lost during shipment?
If your putter is lost in transit or delivery, we will provide you with up to $150 insurance for replacement of a similar putter.
Do you sell putters?
No, not at this time. Porta-Putter is a service offering for your personal putter.
Where else can I have this service done?
Nowhere but at Porta-Putter.. Our patented process is unique, and there is nothing else like it. Porta-Putter allows you to conveniently take your personal golf putter with you wherever you go!
Can I pay by credit card and/or PayPal?
Certainly, we accept all major credit cards and PayPal.
Can I pay by personal check?
No, we are not set up to accept personal checks or cash.
How long have you been in business?
Our manufacturing facility was founded in 1986, and the Porta-Putter process was developed in 2008.
